We are looking for you to join our strategic procurement team in Munich as a full-time Team Leader (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
Your responsibilities
- Technical and managerial leadership, as well as the further development of the global strategic procurement team
- Development and implementation of sustainable supplier and procurement strategies for displays, touch solutions, electronics and mechanical components
- Conducting price, contract and framework agreement negotiations with international suppliers
- Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships to ensure cost, quality and delivery targets are met
- Identifying and realising potential for optimisation throughout the supply chain
- Managing escalation processes for the team in dealings with national and international suppliers, particularly regarding quality issues, price adjustments, supply bottlenecks and strategically relevant business and negotiation matters
- Continuously analysing, optimising and digitising procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Your profile
- A degree in a technical or business discipline, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years’ professional experience in strategic procurement, technical procurement or category management, ideally within the fields of displays, LCM, touch technology, electronics and mechanics
- Leadership experience and a passion for developing teams
- A strong hands-on approach, the ability to take the initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
- Willingness to travel in an international environment
- Technical understanding of drawings, components and manufacturing processes
